First Week at My Lovely Job.

Hello people:

I remember the first week at my job very well. It was a really busy day and I didn't know what to do. The doc asked me to go inside the operating room with him for the first time so could I help him. The first case of the day was a 11 weeks pregnant girl. She was only 14 years old. I told him that I wasn't ready to go in. Then the other MA told me that I have to be strong if I wanted to keep this job. So fine, the next case he didn't even bother asking me. I went straight in. The room was very stinky because it was a two days procedure. A two day procedure is when the patient is more than 15 weeks.

The first day of the procedure, he put something call Laminaria, which tents have been used to aid inductions of labor for over one hundred years. So then they go home and come back the following morning. The following day when the doctor is taking the lam out,  really bad. I remember that I had to go outside the room twice to get some fresh air before I faint.

After the doc started the procedure, he told me to put him the sonogram so he could see what he was doing. I put him the sonogram but the fetus didn't want to come out and he had to use many instruments to cut them apart. The patient began to screen and I got more nervous. The other thing it happened was that there were two fetus, two heads, four legs. When I saw those parts, I had to leave the room one more time. It was so traumatic.

When the doctor did the sonogram to see how many weeks she was the first day, he did not see there were two. I don't understand how come a girl can perform an termination after they feel their babies moving. I am not an anti-abortion person, I believe in abortion but I don't think that a girl should wait that long to get it done. The excuses that they use is that they didn't know they were pregnant, or that the baby father cheated on them. I don't agree with the government in this particular part.
